Celebrated writers including Jeet Thayil, Rana Dasgupta, Indrajit Hazra, Ambarish Satwik, Amitabha Bagchi, Chandrahas Chowdhury, Anita Roy and Nilanjana Roy will gather under a flourishing tree and read from their published and forthcoming books. BARBARA YELIN - GRAPHIC NOVEL WORKSHOP, 3:30 PM (Presentation on November 4th - 6PM)

German comic artist Barbara Yelin, invited by Goethe-Institut to attend the Indo German Urban Mela, will draw a diary that will document her discoveries at and around the Urban Mela. By meeting and interacting with visitors during the Mela and by exploring the bustling streets of Delhi, she aims to gain impressions of an unfamiliar city and a new culture.

On each day of the mela, there will be new updates from her Delhi sketchbook on the website. Don’t forget to follow the strip everyday!

CONNAUGHT PLACE 2020, PANEL DISCUSSION, 4 PM

Connaught Place 2020 is a collaboration between Space Bonding, students of the School of Planning and Architecture, and South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University. In the age of Internet the understanding of local politics changes rapidly. The focus on this panel discussion will be on publicity spaces like CP/Connaught Place and collaborative urban planning. AYAAN ALI KHAN - INDIAN CLASSICAL CONCERT, 6 PM

Ayaan Ali Khan represents the seventh generation of a musical lineage known as the Senia Bangash School. Ayaan gave his first solo performance at the age of eight and has since travelled the world performing in many prestigious venues and popular festivals. Come and listen to this exciting Indian Classical Concert in cooperation with SPIC MACAY.
