Hip hop is a modern form of dance style that is informal, yet extremely full of force and energy. This workshop is meant for all - whether beginners, hip hop enthusiasts or exponents in other dance styles, this workshop has something to interest everyone. A very hands-on or should we say "on your feet and move" kind of a workshop.
The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to dance and hip hop, followed by a warm up for the participants, the basic steps, and using the basic steps to make combinations and blocks that can be danced to a variety of songs.
Participants will then choreograph a portion of a song with steps that have been learnt and practiced.
In the end we hope you have fun combining dance forms while learning hip hop. Feel the music, enjoy the rhythm and beats. Just dance away…
