For those of you who've been following, "What's Your German Connect?", the contest kicked off during the Indo-German Urban Mela in Mumbai. The response was overwhelming, and we received entries about Indians travelling to Germany, or studying there, many have family there, people whose lives have been touched by German art or music or stories of close associations with German brands and organisations.

The contest in Bangalore was spread out to submissions not just online, but also at the Indo-German Urban Mela, as some of us may have seen on the display board near the Centerstage entrance. We are touched and pleasantly surprised by some more amazing stories of how Indians relate to Germany. Some have even found their "German Connect" during their visit to our event! Out of the hundreds of entries we had received, we drew out three winners in a lucky draw.

And here they are:

1st Prize Winner - Ananya Srivastava

Ananya travelled to Germany and still has friends from there that she is in touch with.

2nd Prize Winner - Dr. Krishna M.B

Dr. Krishna M.B believes in green landscaping. A bird-watcher and a landscape architect of sorts, he has worked closely with Bosch on a C.S.R. initiative for a green, eco-friendly campus.

3rd Prize Winner - Tejasvini

Tejasvini has applied to many German Universities for post graduate studies and looks forward to an enriching stay while she studies and makes friends in Germany.

Now onwards to Chennai. Watch this space!
