Sustainable innovation for India and its people is at the core of what Voith in India does and of what we present in our pavilion at the Urban Mela in Delhi. Visitors will get to know Voith from different perspectives as an integral part of their daily lives – mostly invisible and unwitting: For example key components for public transport systems like metros and buses. Technologies that secure reliable electric power supplies based on the renewable source of water. Or paper machines which produce all facets of paper – from newspaper and tissue paper to banknote paper. And Voith also provides a wide range of industrial services for key industries like the automotive sector.
With exhibits made by Voith in India, display graphics and a video-presentation we aim to inspire and inform our visitors. Another highlight in our pavilion will be the interactive representation of a project on hydro power, which students from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee realized in cooperation with Voith.
Voith is committed to the integration of economic, social and ecological factors in order to drive sustainable growth in India. Our endeavors will, as always, be directed towards future markets and global megatrends like, urbanization, renewable energy and resource-sparing technologies. We don’t just focus on the short term, instead we plan with a long-term view, extending over several generations.
